Dow Jones asks Peter Brockway and Michael Moran, Managing Partners of Florida-based Brockway Moran & Partners, for their tips on navigating the private equity market in 2001. Brockway and Moran discuss their strategy of seeking out acquisition opportunities among support services companies, defense-oriented companies and companies in the health and fitness sector, while steering clear of Internet start-ups and the quick IPO pop.
